Although this is truly a retirement 'hobby' as opposed to a
'business' there is a need to move some of my restored radios out in
order to make room for new project radios and most importantly to pay
for the parts needed to bring them back to life. For this reason
you will find restored radios here for purchase.
Each restored radio is completely restores which includes
replacing 95% of its capacitors and at least 60% of its
resistors and all defective components. The cabinet is
refinished and all original decals and speaker cloth replaced.
Each radio undergoes a
meticulous electrical alignment to bring it back to factor
specifications. Before making it available on this page each
radio is rigorous/y tested over a
24 hour run-in period. As well your purchase will be carefully wrapped
in two layers of large bubble wrap before being packed in a heavy-duty
commercial cardboard box before shipping.
Bluetooth Modules:
An optional Bluetooth module with enable you to listen to music
from your Smartphone on your vintage radio. Your Smartphone's
audio is delivered directly to your radio audio amplifying
stages to give you that deep sound that only available from
Vacuum Tube amplifiers. You can also use this module to play
your local FM station or play recorded programs from a Flash
